About the Role 

Our HSEQ Advisors are in our remote WA Villages to support and advise our Operations teams in keeping our people and our guests safe by managing risks, maintaining compliance and finding ways to ensure adoption of safe working behaviours.  You will be assigned to one of our Villages on 8:6 roster, FIFO from Perth. 

 

About You 

As an experienced HSEQ Advisor, you will be skilled at managing HSEQ standards in remote or high-risk environments. Playing a critical role in promoting a culture of safety and compliance, you will ensure that all stakeholders—whether managers, supervisors, or frontline workers—are aligned with industry best practices and legal requirements. 

 

You will bring Safety to life by: 

  • Effectively conduct site safety audits, risk assessments and inspections 
  • Conduct incident investigations and implement improvement actions 
  • Review and conduct risk analysis for tasks and equipment 
  • Maintain site safety and management systems 
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, company policies, and client WHS requirements 
  • Ensure reporting required for weekly/monthly HSQE reports
  • Act as the lead for all ICAM investigations 
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food Safety Advisors to monitor Food Safety compliance and standards on site 
  • Assist and participate in pre-start/toolbox meetings 

 

Experience and qualifications: 

  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety 
  • Cert IV Workplace Trainer & Assessor / Diploma in WHS is desirable but not essential  
  • Ability to accurately compile and report statistical information 
  • 1 year+ HSEQ experience, preferably with exposure to one of the follow: resources / hospitality / defence / emergency services /  facilities management sectors 
  • Experienced in effectively communicating with a diverse range of teams 
  • Experience in completing Incident Investigation & Improvement Actions 
  • Reviewing & Conducting Risk Assessment for tasks and equipment 
  • Maintain Site Safety and Management systems 
  • Effectively conduct and supervise Site Safety Audits & inspections 
  • Hold a valid manual driver’s license  
  • Be able to pass applicable medical & pre-employment testing

  • Complete Civeo paperwork and provide relevant documents, including a Police Clearance less than 6 months old

  • Complete all Site and Civeo inductions - online and face to face 
  • Issued uniforms and contract 
  • System and company training 
  • Fly to site on start date
