  • Position Summary
  • Camm Ag Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Housing Carpenter & Maintenance professional to join our team. This role is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and renovation of approximately 14 residential properties across our operational footprint in Bowenville, Irvingdale, and Dalby. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, highly skilled in general and advanced carpentry, and capable of delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes with minimal supervision.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • • Perform carpentry repairs and renovations across a range of residential properties.
  • • Undertake scheduled and emergency maintenance tasks, including but not limited to:
  • – Framing, flooring, and roofing repairs.
  • – Door and window installations and adjustments.
  • – Cabinetry, shelving, and general joinery.
  • – Minor plumbing, septic, tiling, and painting as needed.
  • • Assess property conditions and report any structural or safety concerns.
  • • Work with the Operations team to develop and maintain a property maintenance schedule.
  • • Coordinate with external contractors for specialised works (e.g., electrical or plumbing where licensing is required).
  • • Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
  • • Ensure all works comply with relevant building codes and safety regulations.
  • • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
  • Required Skills & Experience:
  • • Trade qualification in Carpentry (Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent).
  • • Proven experience in residential carpentry, commercial carpentry and property maintenance.
  • • Sound knowledge of building codes, standards, and safe work practices.
  • • Ability to read and interpret building plans and technical drawings.
  • • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • • Ability to work independently and manage workload across multiple sites.
  • Desirable:
  • • Experience working in rural or regional settings.
  • • Basic skills in other trades such as plumbing, tiling, or painting.
  • • White Card (Construction Induction).
