Position Summary
The Heavy Mobile Equipment (HME) Auto Electrician is responsible for performing electrical diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on a range of heavy mobile mining equipment. This role is critical in ensuring the operational readiness and safety of equipment used in production and support activities across the mine site.
Key Responsibilities
Qualifications and Skills
• Trade-qualified Auto Electrician (Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology or equivalent)
• Australian-recognised Automotive Electrical Licence
• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a similar role within a mining or heavy industrial environment
• Experience with major OEM equipment (Hitachi)
• Current Driver’s Licence (HR desirable)
• Forklift, EWP, Working at Heights, or other high-risk licences (desirable)
• Familiarity with CMMS (e.g., SAP, Pronto) is an advantage
