Fleet Solutions is part of City Standards Branch and maintains Council vehicles, light and heavy machinery, trucks, pavers, minor plant, forklifts, compressors, and many other assorted items.
The purpose of this role is to undertake Leading Hand duties for a team of Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanics who look after the repair, maintenance and servicing of vehicles, plant and equipment to meet customer needs, optimise fleet utilisation and provide cost effective quality of work.
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanic or similar who has the flexibility and capability to work on a range of fleet from heavy to light commercial vehicles and small engine equipment and has leading hand experience.
