Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team in Chipping Norton. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance on heavy vehicles including oil changes, brake inspections, and tire rotations
- Diagnose mechanical issues and repair or replace faulty parts
- Conduct safety inspections on vehicles to ensure compliance with regulations
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance work performed
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs needed and estimated completion times
Qualifications:
- Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Heavy Vehicle)
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic
- Valid driver's license
- Strong knowledge of heavy vehicle systems
- Ability to lift heavy objects
