The Role

Truck Centre WA, is currently recruiting for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Body Builder or Pre Delivery Mechanic to join our brand new modern New Truck Preparation Workshop located in Maddington. This role will be responsible for completing pre-delivery repairs and fit-up work on our new vehicles prior to being delivered to our customers.

As TCWA prides itself in providing a quality product to our customers, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the highest levels of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure all work is completed right the first time.

About You

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Relevant qualifications (essential)
• Current HR Licence
• Experience in a heavy road transport service and repair environment
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and the confidence to communicate identified defects
• High level of accuracy
• High Level of Computer Literacy
• Self-motivation and the Ability to Work Autonomously
• Proven track record of quality workmanship
• A great can-do attitude
• Experience with Mack, UD and/or Volvo products is highly desirable
