Are you a skilled and dedicated Heavy Vehicle Mechanic ready to take on new challenges?

Our focus is providing premium end-to-end logistics solutions for our business partners. We are a diverse organisation and offer a variety of services including express and linehaul transport, bulk waste transport services, wharf cartage, warehousing, regional distribution, and specialised transport solutions.

Due to continued growth, KTrans is seeking experienced Heavy Vehicle Mechanics to join our Workshop Team. We value DISCIPLINE | LOYALTY | ACCOUNTABILITY | HONESTY | PRIDE and are looking for individuals who share these values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair a wide range of heavy vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex mechanical issues.
  • Adhere to strict safety guidelines and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the workshop team to maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements:

  • Driver’s Licence (WA).
  • Australian recognised Certificate III in Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Commercial Road Transport.
  • Full Australian Work Rights.
  • Solid experience in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to regulations.
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
