Responsibilities:
- Perform scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs on heavy mobile plant and light vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues in the field
- Conduct minespec inspections to ensure compliance for vehicles and mobile plant
- Complete accurate documentation of all maintenance activities in the site’s maintenance system
- Collaborate with project teams to minimise downtime and maximise machine availability
- Carry out pre-start checks and ensure roadworthy compliance before releasing equipment
- Manage timely and cost-effective ordering of parts and consumables
- Maintain strict safety standards and conduct thorough compliance checks
Key Requirements:
- Trade qualification (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter / Mechanic essential)
- Proven experience with mobile plant and heavy vehicle maintenance
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in remote locations
- Experience in heavy road transport service and repair
