HD Fitter

Engineering Trades Australia is partnering with a leading mining companies that are continuing to expand its mobile maintenance operations across Western Australia. Due to sustained growth and an increasing project pipeline, we are seeking experienced HD Fitters to join established maintenance crews on a range of FIFO rosters.

Working within a high-performing mobile maintenance team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics and repair of heavy mobile mining equipment, ensuring maximum fleet availability and reliability across site operations.

Benefits to this role:

• Day shift rates starting from $85/hr, with opportunities to earn up to $100/hr
• FIFO from all Australian capital cities
• Paid 12-hour shifts plus paid travel
• Ongoing rostered work with long-term stability
• Multiple roster options available including 2/1, 2/2, 8/7 and 7/7
• Opportunity to secure a permanent position
• Work with some of WA's largest mining operations
• Weekly pay every Friday

  
To be considered for these roles, you will need:

• Australian recognised Trade Qualification (HD Fitter / Diesel Mechanic)
• Current Australian Driver's Licence
• Experience maintaining heavy mobile plant equipment including:
• Caterpillar D10T, 16M, 777D, 789C/D, 992G/K
• Hitachi EX1200-7, EX2600-7
• Liebherr R9400
• Drill rig maintenance experience (highly regarded)
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Full Australian working rights
