We currently have an opportunity for a multiple full-time Handyperson to join our in-House trades team and work with us on our South Australian Housing Trust contract

We are looking for a motivated Handyperson to join our team in Adeladie. You will perform general maintenance, carpentry, tiling, and plastering. This role requires skilled trade work to meet high stakeholder standards while ensuring a safe environment for colleagues, tenants, and the public. Success relies on proactive communication with internal stakeholders and achieving outcomes aligned with scheduled key performance indicators. 

 

Key duties also involve 

  • Ensures high standards of workmanship are maintained and that quality standards pertaining to trades services are met
  • Ensures all work completed meets relevant legislative or industry standards
  • Plan and schedule own work to meet required timelines and outputs
  • Follow policies and procedures as relevant to scope of role and general employment

 

What We Offer:

  • Full-time roles – Working between 6am- 6pm Mon-Friday.
  • Fully fitted out Work Van, for duration of contract with fuel card.
  • One year contract with possibilities of extensions

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience in Tiling/plastering or carpentry or general maintenance
  • 2+ years’ experience in maintenance related position as a qualified trades person
  • Current South Australian Accreditation in your field of work
  • Current White Card
  • Current First Aid Certificate (preferred)
  • Unrestricted Drivers License
  • Ability to gain working with vulnerable people
