Mane Code + Co is a growing, vibrant hair and beauty salon located in the heart of Inglewood on Beaufort Street. Led by industry professional Monique Gangemi, the salon is known for its stylish, welcoming atmosphere and dedication to delivering quality hair services and client care. With a loyal and expanding client base, Mane Code + Co is looking to grow its team with the addition of a passionate and committed 2nd-year Apprentice Hairdresser.
General Duties of the Apprentice
The successful candidate will work closely with senior stylists and will be exposed to a variety of salon tasks to continue their development in hairdressing. Under supervision, duties will include:
Shampooing, conditioning, and applying treatments
Blow-drying and basic styling techniques
Assisting with colour preparation and application
Mixing and refilling salon products as directed
Sweeping floors and maintaining cleanliness in the salon
Sanitising tools and equipment
Greeting clients and providing refreshments
Assisting senior stylists during services
Managing towels and salon laundry
Restocking shelves and monitoring product levels

Proactive and detail-oriented
Essential Selection Criteria (Preferred but Not Mandatory):
Driver’s licence and reliable transport (preferred)
Completion of a pre-apprenticeship in hairdressing (advantageous)
