About the Role

As a Groundsperson/Garden Labourer based at Centennial Parklands, you’ll help maintain and enhance some of Sydney’s most loved green spaces- from iconic gardens and lawns to historic landscapes.

Working alongside skilled horticulturalists, you’ll:

• Assist with garden maintenance including hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, and mulching.
• Operate hand tools and petrol equipment such as hedgers, blowers, whipper snippers, push mowers, and ride-on plant safely and effectively.
• Load and unload materials, plants, and equipment from vehicles.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and machinery.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Every day, you’ll help create spaces that inspire people to get outdoors and connect with nature.

What You’ll Bring

• A genuine interest in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance.
• Previous experience in outdoor or manual work (ideal but not essential).
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team.
• A driver’s licence (desirable).
• A White Card
