SUMMARY:
As a General Labourer, your primary responsibility is to perform a variety of manual and physical tasks that support the day-to-day operations of our business. You will report to the branch manager and assist in maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES HOWEVER NOT LIMITED TO:
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials or equipment.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, move materials to designated locations, and ensure proper storage.
• Keep the workshop and pump room clean and organised, including sweeping floors, wiping surfaces, and maintaining equipment in good working condition.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Be willing to perform a variety of tasks and work in different environments as required by the job.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
• Any other job assigned or required duties by the Service, Branch, Operations and General Manager.
• Manual handling (picking and packing).
• Assist with maintaining company premises and equipment.
• Delivery and pick up when required.
• Ability to perform warehousing duties efficiently.
• Comply with ISO standards.
KPI RESPONSIBILITIES:
• be fit and able to lift up to 25kgs.
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Hold a current Australian Drivers licence
• Be mature, honest and reliable
• Good time management
• Forklift licence is highly regarded.
• Strong attention to details, ability to multi-task and good communication skills.
• Full working rights in Australia
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, carrying, and bending.
• Previous experience in working with a range of basic hand tools.
• An ability to understand and follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Agility and resilience to work within a constantly evolving business environment.
• Ability to work as part of a team but also independently, with strong initiative.
