About the opportunity:

The Framing and Maintenance Carpenter works closely with the Site contracting team and reports to the Site Manager. The key focus of this role is to manage the repairs and maintenance on completed frames where an internal repair by Supaloc is required and/or requested. More specifically, you will:
•Attend to works as identified by the Site manager and carry out repairs and maintenance on frames under construction and completed lived-in homes.
•Conduct investigations, troubleshoot and execute rectifications within a timely manner and to a high quality. 
•Responding to Service Delivery team requests and providing technical assistance promptly and effectively. 
•Work with internal and external departments on joint tasks when required, to achieve client focussed outcomes.
•Work safely and achieve quality standards according to Supaloc’s policy and procedures. 
•Escalate unresolved or difficult problems to the appropriate resources within the business.
•Assist with the assembly of Supaloc steel frames when and as required. 

About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will:
•Experience in frame carpentry, ideally in steel framing 
•Willingness to travel across Brisbane metro and regional areas 
•Proven ability to resolve design and construction issues with an innovative approach to problem solving based on house principles 
•Ability to carry out a simple risk assessment, and safety undertake moderate manual tasks (including lifting) across the workday duration.
•Strong communication and collaboration with team members and other departments 
•A positive attitude with the ability to work by yourself and prioritise tasks according to demand
•A building trade or equivalent is preferred
•A full driver’s licence to operate a service van
