About the role:

Ensure the efficient storage and retrieval of stock, adhering to production schedules and safety protocols. This important role within our Warehouse team ensures the efficient storage and retrieval of stock.

We’re offering seasonal positions with full-time hours, Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 am each day. These roles run through to mid-February, providing a great opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain hands-on experience during our peak production period.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Safely operate forklift to move, lift, and stack furniture and related materials
• Maneuver in tight warehouse spaces
• Inventory management
• Picking and restocking furniture items from designated storage locations
• Arrange items systematically in racks or designated storage areas to optimise space
• Assist in regular stock counts
• Unload containers with furniture items
• Secure loads to prevent damage during transport or storage
• Inspect of items for damage before and after transport
• Report damages or inventory discrepancies to supervisors

Required skills:

• Proven experience in forklift operation
• Valid forklift ticket
• Precision in handling and placement
• Familiarity with warehousing
• Physical fitness for manual handling of goods
• Attention to detail
• Safety mindset and the ability to follow safety procedures
