Apprentice Metal Machinist

Hey there future machinist! We're pumped to invite you to join AGA's awesome apprenticeship program to launch an exciting career in manufacturing. You'll get to operate machinery, read blueprints, take precise measurements, and keep industrial equipment humming. Our pros will mentor you in mastering your craft over 4 years of hands-on learning. Let's build the future together!

We're focused on supporting you all the way and providing killer on-site training. Perks include:

• Score a nationally recognized Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering

You'll thrive in this gig if you:

• Hold Australian citizenship/permanent residency
• Can fully commit to the 4-year FT program
• Have some prior machining experience
• Will attend accredited training (we cover the fees!)
• Have a valid driver's license and set of wheels
• Don't already have a Certificate III or higher in this field

Your days will be spent:

• Operating manual mills, grinders, lathes, etc.
• Disassembling and reassembling equipment
• Servicing and repairing machinery
• Solving problems
• Working safely
