Since its establishment in 1992 (initially as HVOF Australia Pty Ltd), LaserBond has pioneered the research, development and implementation of advanced surface engineering techniques to dramatically reduce the wear rates, maintenance and operating costs of production vital components of industrial customers.

POSITION

Due to continuous growth, LaserBond is seeking a full-time Mechanical Tradesman for its Smeaton Grange premises.

Position requirements:

•   Trade qualification as a Fitter and Turner / Fitter Machinist.

•   Proficient in the set up and operation of conventional lathes.

•   Highly proficient in workshop practices.

•   Ability to use the necessary range of testing and measuring instrumentation (e.g. gauges, micrometers, verniers, plug gauges, height gauges).

•   Ability to read and interpret detailed drawings.

•   Ability to work with minimal supervision.

•   A keen eye for detail.
