FIFO Special Class Welder, Cooper Basin SA

Downer’s Energy & Utilities business has an opportunity for experienced Special Class Welder to join our integrated gas team in the Cooper Basin, SA. Working on the highly desirable 18/10 roster. We can offer an immediate start for the right candidate, with project completing in late November 2024 (full-time fixed term contract). FIFO from all capital cities. In this role, you will work within a team and have experience working on heavy industry FIFO projects, preferably within Oil & Gas industry. Attractive Base Rate + Penalties + Allowances, camp accommodation provided on site. 

ABOUT YOU

• Experience working on heavy industry FIFO projects, preferably within Oil & Gas STT preferred (not essential)
• Previous S/S pipping experience (essential)
• Weld process TIG root wire feed flux fill and cap, tig root MMA fill cap, STT root wire feed flex fill cap 
• Trade certificate, Driver’s License, and White Card (Construction Induction) 
• Gas Test Atmospheres (MSMWHS217) - within last two years 
• High Risk Work License (desirable)
• Commitment to safety and wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues
• Good communication skills, strong work ethic and be able to work well as part of a team
