Fence & Retaining Wall Installer / Labourer

Wacol Based | Brisbane, Logan & Ipswich Areas

$40–$45 per hour + Super (depending on experience and ability)

Metafix Pty Ltd is looking for a reliable team member to join our fencing and retaining wall crew.

We specialise in Colorbond fencing, timber fencing, concrete sleeper retaining walls and composite retaining walls for residential and commercial clients across South East Queensland.

About the Role

You will be working alongside an experienced crew assisting with:

• Construction of Colorbond and timber fencing
• Construction of concrete sleeper and composite retaining walls
• Site preparation and clean-up
• Loading and unloading materials
• Operating hand and power tools
• General labouring duties

This role will commence on a casual basis. For the right person, we are looking to build a long-term team member and offer permanent full-time employment once they have demonstrated the reliability, work ethic and attitude we’re looking for.

This position will suit someone who enjoys physical outdoor work, likes seeing tangible results at the end of each day and takes satisfaction in doing a job properly.

Experience in fencing, retaining walls, landscaping or construction is highly regarded, however reliability, work ethic and attitude are just as important as experience.

Requirements

• Current White Card (or willing to obtain)
• Current manual driver’s licence
• Australian working rights
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

The following are highly regarded:

• Fencing experience
• Retaining wall experience
• Excavator experience
