About the role

As a Senior Mechanic, you’ll be performing maintenance, repairs, and routine inspections on our e-scooter fleet. This is a hands-on role best suited for those who enjoy technical challenges, appreciate variety in their work, and are committed to safety and quality.

 

Role Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on e-scooters and e-bikes
  • Conduct regular quality assurance checks to ensure all units meet safety and performance standards
  • Troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement reliable solutions
  • Document completed work and maintain accurate service records
  • Collaborate with the broader operations team to ensure timely deployment of serviced vehicles

 

Role Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience working with light vehicles (e.g., cars, motor scooters, motorcycles) or electrical systems
  • Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
  • Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Ability to regularly lift, carry, and manoeuvre items weighing 28-35 kg
  • A suitable smartphone (2018 or newer Apple or Android device) for on-the-job tasks

Pay Rate
We offer a starting hourly rate of AUD $33-38 per hour, plus uncapped incentives based on your performance and productivity, which can be 10% - 30%+ bonuses for strong performing mechanics.
