FTI Group Pty Ltd is an Australian owned company operating in the prefabricated and preformed formwork industry. We strive every day to make our customers’ builds faster, simpler and safer and design and manufacture every product in our Australian factory. Our Fast Tread stairs and other prefabricated formwork systems now feature in over 1,000 buildings, including many landmark ones, across Australia and internationally.
We are now seeking for a full-time Welder to join our team in Goulburn.
Your duties will include:
1. Studying drawings and specifications to determine project requirements and materials.
2. Selecting appropriate metals for welding projects to be completed.
3. Cutting and shaping metals using different tools, torches and machines including shaping and bending metals to fit project specifications.
4. Joining metals and parts together using a range of welding techniques.
5. Ensuring the end-product complies with all specifications including cleaning, polishing, and smoothing end products.
6. Ensuring OH&S regulations are complied with at all times.
To apply for the role, you must have the following:
• At least 3 years of work experience in the field.
• Understand properties of different welding metals.
• Must be able to follow instructions.
