About the Position: Excavator/ Labourer Operator

We are recruiting for a Excavator/ Labourer Operator - working 60 hours per fortnight at the Yeppoon Landfill.

Duties include


  • Manual handling tasks of resource recovery and waste

  • Excavator operation, assessing loads being delivered and sorting of loads

  • Landfill operator training will be provided to the successful candidate.

  • Experience in the waste or resource recovery industry is desirable.

  • Experience in plant and machinery operations is highly regarded.

  • If you have a can-do attitude, enthusiastic and passionate about what you do, this may be a role for you.

Qualifications and experience



    • Excavator ticket required

    • Forklift and Loader ticket highly regarded however training will be provided to the successful candidate.

    • Ability to adhere to safe work practices

    • Holds a current Construction White Card (desirable)
