Engineering Apprentice

About the Role: As an Engineering Apprentice, you’ll be working hands-on with our experienced engineering crew, learning the ropes while supporting day-to-day operations across our facilities. This is a fantastic opportunity to earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade.

You will:

• Assist in the maintenance and repair of winery machinery and equipment
• Develop skills in preventative maintenance, fault finding, fabrication and equipment installation
• Learn to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and specifications
• Gain experience in welding, machining, fitting and other mechanical tasks
• Work collaboratively with a team that values safety, learning, and a bit of fun along the way!

*Please note, this position will not commence until early 2026.

What We’re Looking For:

• A genuine interest in engineering and mechanical systems
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• A safety-first mindset
• Completion of Year 10 (minimum) with sound results in Maths and Science
• Must be able to reliably commute to Milawa for work and TAFE, as required
