Description

Espec is a locally based electrical contracting company that specialises in commercial projects and maintenance across Darwin. Our work includes things like school upgrades, government buildings, and infrastructure installations.

We don’t do residential call-outs or heavy industrial sites — just well-planned, professional commercial work with a strong focus on safety and quality. Our team takes pride in doing the job properly and working together respectfully.

The Work

  • Commercial installations – switchboard installs, lighting, power, and cable runs
  • Commercial maintenance – routine servicing, fault finding, test and tag, and compliance checks
  • Work is based in Darwin – little to no remote travel, no camp jobs
  • Standard weekday hours, with the option for occasional weekend work

Skills And Experiences

What You’ll Need

Essential:

  • NT Electrical Licence (or eligible via mutual recognition)
  • White Card
  • LVR & CPR
  • “C” class driver’s licence
  • Working knowledge of Australian Standards and NT legislation
  • Willingness to apply for a DCAC (Defence Common Access Card), if needed

Nice to Have:

  • EWP, Working at Heights, Ochre Card
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel)
  • Solid communication and a tidy work ethic
