THE ROLE
As an Electrician here at GCCEC, you will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and your responsibilities will include:
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plant and equipment
- Preventative Maintenance of electrical and control systems
- End of month meter readings
- Assisting other team members with building maintenance where required
ABOUT YOU
The idea candidate for this role will have the following skills, knowledge, personal attributes and experience:
- Electrical Trade Qualifications
- A focus on Safety practices
- Recent experience performing electrical work in a large venue is preferred, but not essential
- A Customer Service focused individual who genuinely enjoys working with people
- Flexibility to work nights, days and weekends
- Initiative and a sense of responsibility
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Commitment to excellence and attention to detail
- The ability to multi-task while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanour
