Job summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrician to join our team in the Agriculture Industry. We are Based in Northern Victoria and service into Southern NSW. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems on Our VALLEY Irrigators. This role is crucial for ensuring that all electrical installations comply with safety regulations and operate efficiently to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Install and maintain electrical systems comprising of 3 -phase and single phase supply for Valley Pivot & Linear’s

· Read and interpret electrical blueprints.

· Diagnosis faults with motor control wiring – Including Soft Starters, DOL Starters, and VSD’s used on on pump and tower motors.

· Control system troubleshooting – PLC-based panels, Valley ICON / Pro panels, GPS Alignment systems.

· Fault finding on irrigation tower drive motors, gearboxes and safety cut-outs.

· Understanding low-voltage control circuits (24V, 48V, AC/DC) for end gun, booster pump and remote start.

· Pump station integration – electrical interface between pumps, pivots, fertigation systems.

· Inspect and test electrical systems for functionality and safety.

· Collaborate with Service Co-Ordinator around work load requirements

· Comply with all relevant safety regulations during work activities.

· Ensure safe working conditions at all times on-site.

· Troubleshoot electrical problems as they arise promptly.

· Provide cost estimates to Service Co-Ordinator for installation or repair work as needed.

· Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.

About you:

· Current A-Grade Electrical Licence.

· Experience with other brands (Zimmatic, Reinke, Bauer) preferred but not essential.

· Experience with working through Manuals, wiring diagrams and fault codes.

· Mechanical aptitude – for minor gearbox, coupling and bearing repairs while onsite.

· Able to take direction, able to work solo and unsupervised.

· Flexible to perform other works like Bore Installation, Pump Station installs and general irrigation construction.
