Description

About the Role:

Espec is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrician to join our team. Espec electricians are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical equipment in accordance with relevant Australian standards and company policies and procedures. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION:

  • Perform all aspects of electrical installations as per the project specifications and Australian Standards
  • Install wiring, conduits, and other electrical components according to technical drawings.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures while performing duties.
  • Maintain accurate records of all electrical work performed, including installations, inspections, and repairs.
  • Ensure that all electrical work meets the highest standards of quality and complies with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Perform testing and inspections to verify the integrity and functionality of electrical systems.
  • Execute any additional tasks as assigned by the project manager, ensuring alignment with project-specific document control processes and project goals.

 



Skills And Experiences

SELECTION CRITERIA:

 

ESSENTIALS:

  • Current Unrestricted NT Electrical Licence
  • Current “C” class driver’s licence
  • White Card (construction site card)
  • LVR & CPR Qualification
  • Working knowledge and practical application of relevant (latest editions) Statutory Requirements, State Legislation, Australian Standards and Site Requirements.

DESIRABLE:

  • Sound computer skills, able to use Word and Excel.
  • Written communication skills – able to prepare work reports and job instructions. 
  • Interpersonal / verbal communication skills - communicates effectively with the full range of people involved on and off site.
  • Willing to work on a wide range of tasks involving on and off-site work and often irregular hours.
