We currently have an opportunity for a fulltime self-motivated, qualified and experienced reliable Shift Technician (Electrician or Refrigeration Mechanic) based at Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) located near Bungendore, NSW. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, achieve highest level of safety, quality of work and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service.
The position will report to the Facilities Maintenance Manager and will deliver a range of services to effectively operate the site that will include the co-ordination and supervision of in-house resources and Service Delivery Partners including actively managing and co-ordinating operational work activities to meet response times, deadlines and safety obligations and contribute to condition assessments throughout the course of duties.
Under limited supervision, the position will work an 84-hour fortnight as part of a 12-hour shift rotation where the monthly roster allows for two weekends off each month, an additional shift penalty allowance of 45% of the applicable hourly rate, five (5) weeks annual leave and the opportunity for paid overtime.
Candidates must be suitable for Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship Mandatory), a minimum of 5-10 years industry experience, a valid driver's licence with no restrictions and a current General Construction Induction (White) Card.
