Downer’s Energy & Utilities business are seeking Electricians to join an exciting long-term Future Energy project at RAAF Base Tindal in the Northern Territory. The project scope consists of the high and low voltage system upgrade. Large high and low voltage cable hauling and installation, low voltage cable termination and jointing, cable testing & QA inspections, earthing system installation & testing, substation installation, commissioning, termination, testing, QA and generator installation, termination, testing, compliance checks and maintenance.

ABOUT YOU

• Electrical License NT


• LVR/CPR in date


• Experience with underground electrical works – conduit installation, cable hauling, electrical pits


• Large scale construction experience


• Experience with large low voltage cable installation & winching, termination, jointing & testing.


• Ability to comply with strict HSE requirements – full PPE (hard had, glasses, gloves, long sleeve attire).


• Experience in completing & complying with safety documentation – Take 5’s, risk assessments, SWMS.


• Class C unrestricted driver’s license
