An exciting opportunity has arisen for trade qualified Electrical Fitter/Mechanics to join Service Stream in our Epping office

About the Role

Service Stream’s Utilities division are currently seeking a Electrical Fitter/Mechanics to join our growing company working within electricity distribution industry mainly servicing the Melbourne CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Nature of position:               Permanent, Full Time

Location:                               Epping, VIC

Reporting Line:                    Works Manager

Covering multiple projects across our portfolio of work in a business that has a strong pipeline of future work and long-term client contracts. Overtime shifts are a common within this sector.

To be successful in this role you will be a VIC trade licensed Electrical Fitter Mechanic. Ideally this qualification will be combined with demonstrated experience within the Victorian Electricity Supply Industry. Day to day, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of Zone and Distribution Substations.

Furthermore, to be successful in your application – you will ideally have the following skills and qualifications;

  • Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices.
  • VESI (Victorian Electricity Supply Industry) trained and up to date
  • Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs.
  • Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work, Construction White / Blue Card.
  • Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship.
  • Able to undertake after hours work as required and within business process guidelines.
  • Desirable – Forklift licence, EWP (Elevated Work Platform) Endorsed driver's license and confined space trained.
