THE OPPORTUNITY 

The main objective of this exciting role is to support the delivery of a series of power system builds for a variety of projects across Australia. We are currently seeking an experienced switchboard builder with mechanical aptitude to join our growing team based in Ingleburn, Sydney.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

• Build a range of low voltage and extra low voltage switchboards and DC rack mounted power systems from general arrangement and schematic drawings. 
• Read schematics and wiring diagrams 
• Form a vital part of Ampcontrol’s engineering team to assist with electrical design updates, drawing changes and associated documentation requirements 
• Work with the production team to achieve quality, delivery and budget targets. 

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 

• Previous experience in switchboard and power system manufacturing or installation 
• Self-motivated, strong communication, and leadership skills. 
• Attention to detail. 
• Demonstrated experience in resolving problems – technical, quality and schedule. 
• Experience working within critical infrastructure environments 
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications. 
• A current driver’s license. 
• Strong negotiation skills.
