Aurenne Group Mining are seeking a Dual Trade Electrician & Refrigeration Mechanic to join our site-based team. This hands-on, multi-skilled role is critical in ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of all electrical and refrigeration systems across the village and operational facilities.

Work Scope

Family friendly, 8:6 day shift roster, on call for nights. FIFO from Perth or DIDO from Kalgoorlie.

This position is critical to the successful operation of our open cut gold mining business. The work scope will cover (but will not be limited to) the management of small to large scale refrigeration and air conditioning works which can involve installation, service and repair of the units throughout the camp, shared facilities, admin and crib rooms on site. The successful applicant will be performing general electrical and refrigeration work on various branded units, including installing equipment in a cost-effective method and implementing a daily/weekly/monthly proactive maintenance schedule. You must have the ability to plan and order all materials and equipment required, complete job packs and tasks allocated daily, all while keeping the fridges and aircon/heating units running! Breakdowns happen and we require a person who can pivot fast, work safely and think clearly under pressure with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Verifying that all completed work complies with relevant regulations and safety standards

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years post trade experience in electrical/refrigeration at a mining camp
  • A grade electrical licence (WA)
  • Australian trade certified / recognised refrigeration mechanical qualification
  • Cert IV in hazardous areas
  • Current manual drivers licence
  • Unrestricted Australian working rights
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A screen
  • Provide a national police clearance to gold mining standards
