ROLE SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Drill Fitter to join our maintenance team supporting drilling operations across Western Australia. You will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing drill rigs and associated mining equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and productive operations.

 

KEY DETAILS

  • 14/14 roster
  • FIFO from Perth & all major cities 
  • Meals, accommodation, and flights fully covered
  • Fitter’s vehicle supplied

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Service, maintain, and repair drill rigs and heavy mining equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and LV electrical faults 
  • Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
  • Support field crews and respond to breakdowns when required
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site standards
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation

 

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Trade qualification as Diesel Fitter / Heavy Diesel Mechanic (or similar)
  • Experience working on drill rigs or heavy mining equipment (essential)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills 
  • Pass pre-employment medical, drug & alcohol screening
  • Police clearance within 12 months
  • Manual Driver’s Licence
