About the role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing plant equipment / diesel engines. You will work closely with other team members to ensure that all plant equipment is in good working condition and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines and plant equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with diesel engines, trucks and earthmoving equipment
• Ad hoc tasks as required
• On site servicing and maintenance when required

About You

• Qualified Diesel mechanic (Mandatory)
• Experience with Plant Equipment preferred and highly regarded!
• Preferably HR / HC truck licenses
• Must have experience in maintaining and repairing trucks and earthmoving equipment.
• Forklift / machine tickets preferred
• Strong mechanical and electrical skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and accuracy
