We are looking for an experienced Diagnostic Mechanic to join the team at Pacifc Gympie. If you are a self-motivated team player with a great attitude we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will be ensuring customer satisfaction by inspecting, servicing, and repairing our customer’s vehicles.

So, who are we looking for?

• Cert III or higher qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic is mandatory.


• A high level of mechanical knowledge and experience in the automotive industry.


• A great eye and attention to detail.


• The ability to work effectively in a team and independently.


• Motivation to mentor our apprentices.


• A current Driver’s Licence is mandatory.


• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.

Your duties would include:

• Diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on a variety of vehicles.


• Ensure customer safety and satisfaction with every job.


• Completing repair orders and vehicle services efficiently.


• Supporting apprentices with their training.


• Complete warranty work whilst adhering to manufacturer workshop guidelines.
