The Opportunity 

Kent is currently seeking experienced CSU Technicians (Mechanical) to join our Brisbane based Project on an 18-month contract.

As a CSU Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of wellsite, fixed facility, and temporary CSU equipment. This role involves supporting all aspects of commissioning activities, including brownfield trial projects, while ensuring compliance with the Company’s permit to work system and all relevant safety and operational procedures. 


In this role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • Perform other ad-hoc tasks as required or directed by the supervisor or management.
  • Ensure all additional tasks fall within the reasonable scope of the employee’s skills, capabilities, and role within the organisation.
  • Support the organisation’s need for flexibility and adaptability in response to changing operational requirements.
  • Undertake assignments with consideration for current workload and professional development opportunities.
  • Be prepared to receive further details of the job requirements from the Client upon mobilisation.
  • Carry out all duties in alignment with the expectations set by the Client and the organisation.

 

About You:

Our ideal candidate will have a Certificate III in Mechanical Trade, with the experience and skillset required to inspect, diagnose, service, and rebuild gas/diesel-driven fixed engines and rotating equipment; hold a valid General Construction Induction Training (White Card); and possess a minimum of 5 years' post-trade experience.
