About the role 

Join a dynamic team supporting the success of apprentices, trainees, and their employers. We’re seeking a proactive Coordinator, Student Lifecycle (Apprentice & Employer Engagement) to lead customer service support for A&T employers, while ensuring seamless onboarding and induction for our commencing and returning apprentices and trainees. 

In this key role, you’ll coordinate a team that liaises closely with employers, provides support in using tailor-made university systems, and follows through on finalisation of A&T records including Employer sign-off on final results and student completions. You’ll excel in establishing and maintaining collaborative working relationships with the teaching program leadership team to deliver effective onboarding and timely and relevant enrolment support to apprentices. 

Your ability to influence, negotiate, and foster collaborative relationships will be essential to driving successful outcomes for the College. 

To be successful in this position, you will have:  

 

  • Demonstrated highly developed interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills that enable internal and external collaboration with a wide range of management, staff and external parties on complex, sensitive and confidential issues. 

  • Strong stakeholder relationship skills, including the ability to influence and negotiate for solutions with a customer focus. 

  • Proven ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures, and systems consistently, provide advice and to drive creative solutions through to implementation within the immediate work area. 

  • A high order of analytical and problem-solving skills and the demonstrated ability to develop and implement innovative and creative solutions in a complex environment. 

  • Demonstrated effective organisational skills in the planning, development, implementation, operation, and review of resources and/or services to achieve a quality environment. 

  • Experience in championing change management and new ways of working within an organisation. 

  • Ability to collect and analyse data, produce reports, and develop and implement strategies that effectively address areas of improvement
