Are you looking for a hands-on role where you can make a difference in your community? We are seeking multiple Labourers to join our Project Delivery Group, helping to deliver a variety of maintenance and construction activities across Redlands Coast. If you are a motivated individual with construction experience who enjoys working in a team-oriented environment, we want to hear from you!


Guided by our Values, you will:



  • Perform a range of skilled and specialist maintenance or construction tasks with minimal supervision, ensuring all work is completed in line with Service Level Agreements and Council Standards.

  • Provide technical assistance and advice to the Team Leader and Construction Supervisor to support project delivery.

  • Adhere to Workplace Health and Safety and Environmental Protection requirements, proactively identifying and reporting any potential or actual safety hazards or issues within the work environment.

  • Correctly use, maintain, and apply a variety of hand tools, engine-driven hand tools, and other equipment used in civil construction.

We would love to hear from you or someone you know who has construction experience with the ability and physical fitness to perform strenuous labouring tasks for extended periods. You will possess practical experience in a broad range of construction activities, can correctly operate various hand tools, engine-driven tools, and equipment used in civil construction, demonstrates courteous and competent customer service skills, and has a solid understanding of and commitment to Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) and Environmental Management practices.

Eligibility


 


Level 4 Labourer 


 



  • You'll hold a C class drivers licence.

  • Successful applicants will be asked to consent to a police check. Please note that people with criminal records are not automatically barred from applying for this position. Each application will be considered on its merits. 

  • To be eligible for employment, applicants must have the legal right to work in Australia.


 


Level 5 Operational Assistant (in addition to the above)


 



  • You'll hold a certification III in Civil Construction.
