Commissioning Technician/Electrician

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Technician to join our team on a major renewable energy project in regional Victoria. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the successful delivery of one of the state’s landmark solar and battery projects.

• LAFHA paid in addition to base earnings
• 3 weeks on / 1 week off roster (FIFO/DIDO from Victoria or interstate)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform commissioning activities across solar, BESS, and substation assets
• Undertake testing, troubleshooting, and verification of systems in line with project requirements
• Support integration and energisation phases
• Ensure all commissioning works are completed to industry and project safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to meet project milestones

Key Requirements:

• Previous commissioning experience in substations, large-scale solar, or battery energy storage systems (BESS)
• Electrical trade or engineering qualifications
• Proven ability to work under pressure to tight project deadlines
• Strong knowledge of industry safety procedures and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
