Hydrilla is a leader in the Commercial Pool and Aquatics Industry, working on some of the most iconic pools and aquatic projects Australia wide. Our work varies from Design and Construction, Major Renovations, Repairs and Servicing for pools and water treatment systems in public and commercial spaces.

Due to ongoing growth, we are currently looking to fill a new, permanent, full-time role for a swimming plumber. Our Plumbers are involved in the design, construction, and support of plumbing and water treatments systems for public swimming pools and recreational aquatics facilities. The position is required to work across a large variety of projects helping construction, service and project teams as required.

Duties will include but not be limited to

  • Interpret: Follow construction plans to build high-quality commercial swimming pool and recreational aquatics systems with industry-leading water treatment systems
  • Collaborate: Assist project and/or site manager with the design of water treatment and plumbing systems as required
  • Renovate: Assist with changes and updates to aquatic systems on-site as required
  • Installation: Building pipework in the plantroom using pressure PVC pipes and fittings, pumps, filters, UV systems, and chemical dosing controllers
  • Safety Compliance: Support site managers to oversee site works, ensuring compliance to WHS and quality systems
  • Site Maintenance: Helping to maintain a clean and safe job site at all times, contributing to a positive and professional image for our company

The successful candidate will possess

  • Unrestricted rights to work in Australia
  • Previous experience in commercial swimming pool and aquatics plumbing and/or mechanical plumbing (highly regarded)
  • Current unrestricted C Class Driver’s License (essential),
  • Plumbing license (highly regarded but not necessary),
  • Construction Industry White Card (desirable),
  • Ability to travel away for short periods of time (2 weeks at a time).
