Reporting to the CNC Workshop Supervisor, this role presents an excellent opportunity for a motivated CNC Machinist to join our high-performing team at our Mt Thorley, NSW site.

The main responsibilities of the role include:

  • Determines requirements for jigs, equipment, and material.
  • Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
  • General machining, assembly and repair work in a timely manner.
  • Ensures all work performed is to specification.
  • Complies with company business system requirements such as Safety, Quality, Business management systems, schedules and production
  • documentation.
  • Keeps tools and machinery effectively maintained.
  • Sets up and operates CNC machinery, (mills, lathes, laser, profile, etc.), drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
  • Assists Mechanical Engineer to modify sketches or computer-generated designs of machine components such as hydraulic system and drive mechanism.

Essential Criteria:

  • Trade Qualification (Fitter/Machinist)
  • Similar experience (preferably with CNC Machining)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current driver’s license

  • Roster 1: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.

    Roster 2: Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
