The Collective is part of the Hunter St Hospitality Group which includes venues such as Rockpool Bar & Grill, Sake' and Spice Temple. Each venue within The Collective offers a culinary experience that’s entirely its own. The Garden menus champion local produce and relaxed dining, with a focus on light, seasonal flavours. What’s involved:
As an Apprentice Chef, you will learn alongside qualified Chefs in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Working with us allows you to learn and build experiences from skilled professionals within a commercial kitchen environment. You will be working at one of our great host venues, working with large quantities of food and a variety of seasonal ingredients. Key activities you can expect will be:
To suit this role, you will be an eager and motivated individual with a passion for food looking to kick-start your culinary career! You will have good communication skills, seek out opportunities to learn and show initiative in your everyday duties.
We are seeking someone who is self motivated & has the maturity to be able to show initiative & effort as they learn - venue is very large & kitchen is on display to customers so someone who has a maturity to be able to work in that environment.
