ABOUT THE EMPLOYER

BA & KM Carpentry are a small carpentry business based in Baldivis that complete timber wall and roof framing for some of Perth's leading project builders and custom boutique builders.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an exciting opportunity to kick-start your career in the ever-growing building and construction industry. The successful candidate will undertake a full-time apprenticeship completing a Certificate III in Carpentry supported by BA & KM Carpentry and a nominated Registered Training Organisation (RTO).

As an apprentice, you'll be supporting a qualified team member with day-to-day duties that may include the following:

• Cutting and installing framework for timber roof


• Carrying materials around the site


• Maintaining a clean worksite


• Utilising saws, nail guns, drills, and other required tools

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The ideal candidate would be someone with a genuine interest in the trade. You will also possess the following:

• Strong reliability and eager to learn and work hard


• Punctual and great time management skills


• Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions


• Ability to work at heights 


• Driver's license and reliable vehicle


• Construction White Card


• Certificate II in Building and Construction (desirable)
