Circl Group is seeking the right candidate work on our Aboriginal Housing Office project as a carpenter supervisor, in Western Sydney. You will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of projects while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. With your experience and expertise, you will oversee and coordinate the activities of the construction crew, provide guidance and support to subcontractors and team members, and ensure that work is completed according to specifications and timelines. Your trade skills will be essential in completing site tasks while supporting and motivating our contractors to deliver high-quality results. You will also foster a culture of safety and accountability by effectively managing resources, communicating effectively with trades and customers, and problem-solving on the fly, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our project.

RESPONSIBLILITIES
• Oversee and manage multiple small projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and to the required quality standards
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Coordinate and supervise on-site subcontractors to execute the plan as per the schedule.
• Complete hands on carpentry work as required.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
• Ensure all work is performed to the highest quality standards and in compliance with relevant regulations and specifications.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct inspections to identify and rectify defects.
• Ensure all projects comply with relevant health and safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation as required.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Relevant certifications or licenses
• Experience in a trade, supervisory or assessor role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency to work with Microsoft office and management software and tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with trades and customers.
• Ability to motivate and guide teams to achieve project goals.
• Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
