We are currently seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team in DARWIN.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and work from technical drawings to complete assigned tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, machinery, and heat treatments to manipulate various materials
- Fit and install masts, frames, fittings, machinery, shafts, safety equipment, cabinetry and structural components.
- Assess damage and determine appropriate repair methods for marine vessels
- Perform repairs using a range of materials including metals, reinforced plastics, timbers, cabinetry components, floorings, carbon fibre and fiberglass.
About You:
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role, with strong adaptability
- A trade certificate (highly regarded)
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- A current driver’s licence and reliable transport
- A valid OHS Construction Induction White Card (essential)
