We are a rapidly growing residential building company, specialising in insurance repairs for over 20 years. Our dynamic team consists of highly skilled individuals with a strong background in construction and administration.

We are looking for an experienced, full-time Carpenter to join our team on a permanent basis, working on both home building insurance repair projects and private renovation works.

The ideal candidate will possess:


  • Carpentry trade qualification (minimum).

  • QBCC Site Supervisor's licence (required).

  • Recent experience in domestic renovations.

  • Good understanding of NCC, QBCC, and Trade Compliance.

  • Current driver's licence and a good driving history.

  • A positive and friendly "can-do" approach to life and work.

  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.

  • Energy and a willingness to learn.

  • High reliability and dependability.

  • A neat appearance and keen eye for detail.

  • Effective communication skills – both written and verbal.

  • Willingness to obtain & complete a police history check prior to commencing full-time employment.

  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

  • Most importantly, common sense and good judgement.

Work you will undertake in this role includes:


  • Conducting property inspections and compiling detailed causation reports.

  • Estimating residential building repairs/renovations.

  • Liaising with Homeowners, Insurance Companies, and Loss Adjusters.

  • Supervising projects/repairs (on and off site).

  • Possible travel to assist in our other regional QLD offices

  • We deliver emergency services to our customers, and when a job needs doing—regardless of the time of day—we get it done. You will therefore be on call for a week, once every 6-8 weeks, for which you will be remunerated on top of your salary.
