The Role
We are seeking qualified and motivated Carpenters to join our growing team in Brisbane. In this role, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and rectification of passive fire protection systems across a range of commercial, industrial, healthcare, and government client sites.
You will play a key role in ensuring passive fire assets remain compliant, operational, and maintained to the highest industry and safety standards, while delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

What You'll Be Doing

Installing, maintaining, repairing, and rectifying passive fire protection systems including fire doors, penetration seals, fire-rated walls, ceilings, and fire dampers

Conducting inspections and identifying defects or non-compliances within passive fire systems

Carrying out remediation works in accordance with Australian Standards and fire industry requirements

Completing service reports, defect reports, and compliance documentation accurately and on time

Supporting passive fire upgrades and minor project works across multiple client sites

Communicating effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure quality service delivery

Working independently across various client sites throughout Queensland

Maintaining tools, equipment, and work vehicles in a safe and professional condition

Maintaining high standards of safety, workmanship, and professionalism on site
Your Skills, Experience & Attributes

Trade qualification in Carpentry (essential)
-
Previous experience in commercial carpentry, passive fire protection, construction, or building maintenance
-
Experience installing or maintaining fire doors, penetration sealing systems, or other passive fire products highly regarded

Current Construction Blue/White Card
-
Current driver's licence

Ability to obtain a Blue Card

Ability to maintain required vaccinations for site access

Strong understanding of workplace health and safety requirements

Excellent attention to detail and quality workmanship

Strong communication and documentation skills

Ability to work independently and manage your schedule effectively

Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
