Our Social Infrastructure and Citizen Services – Defence business currently provides asset management, facilities management and large range of support to ADF site across Australia. We have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Carpenter to join the team. You will be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager and working alongside our highly capable internal trades team, and Service Delivery Partners. Your role as a Carpenter will see you based at HMAS Albatross, Nowra Hill site, delivering maintenance services to the various asset buildings. Your primary day to day responsibilities will include responding to reactive maintenance, with a focus on improving the longevity of fixed plant and equipment and assisting (where required) with preventative maintenance. 

ABOUT YOU

• Cert III – Carpentry (Mandatory)
• Construction White Card (preferred)
• Australian Citizen - Mandatory
• Australian Baseline Clearance – Desirable
• Able to communicate effectively, work autonomously and with a wider team
• Have ‘can-do’ attitude and be adaptable
• Adhere to a Zero Harm culture, ensuring safety is always your priority
• Willing to undertake pre-employment checks including police background check, pre-employment medical 
• Must be Australian Citizen for Baseline Clearance eligibility
• Ability to work some on-call and overtime for which you will receive additional penalties & allowances
