Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced carpenter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Supervisor or Leading Hand in the delivery of construction projects
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout and materials required for construction.
Complying with company policies and procedures
Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, u
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to complete projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
Relevant trade certificates
Proven experience as a carpenter in the construction industry
Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as building codes and safety regulations
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills

Standard 11 Induction - Desirable

Current Drivers License, HR or MR Drivers License
Willingness to participate in and learn all aspects of the construction process.
