As a result of further business growth, we are looking for proactive, forward thinking and organised Fire Door Installer/Carpenter Technician to join our Passive Fire division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work across both doors and specialised passive fire protection installations.

You will have a ‘can do’ attitude and have the ability to think on your feet and be able to approach your work with confidence and deliver a high level of professionalism. You will be expected to work both independently at times and as part of an organized team on a variety of sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install passive fire protection systems and doors. Must have prior experience in fire door installations.
• Conduct inspections and report on fire compliance in accordance with AS1851-2012.
• Be able to work independently and autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members and Department Managers on project and maintenance work where required.

Desirable but Not Essential:

• Prior experience in fire rated doors
• Knowledge of NCC/BCA compliance in fire-rated construction elements
• Experience using digital job management platforms such as Simpro or Uptick
• Ability to read plans and specifications
